Fractional design partner
Fractional Design Partner means a model where design is part of daily product development, not as a separate project or occasional resource. We work as part of the team, with agreed allocation and clear responsibility. Collaboration adapts to the product's situation and focuses on where design truly has impact.
Design as part of everyday product development
Design is present where decisions and the product are actually made.
Design as part of the product team
Design is not a separate part but involved in daily discussions and decisions as part of product development.
Flexible allocation
The client chooses the allocation month by month, typically 2–5 days per week. Allocation can be adjusted as needed.
Monthly agreement
Collaboration is valid month by month, and it doesn't need to be locked in advance for a long time.
A named designer for your team
A designer is assigned to you who works as part of your product team and daily decision-making.

Senior-level designers
All our designers are senior-level professionals with at least six years of experience in UI, UX, and product design. While expertise is broad, each designer has their own strengths — some in research and user understanding, others in visual design or systematic thinking. What's common to all is that they don't need constant guidance or hand-holding, but can independently identify where focusing will have the most impact.
Own team and network
We use network designers when none of our available designers best match the needs of that particular situation. The choice is always made based on expertise and fit — not based on who happens to be available.

Verified expertise
Each designer's expertise is assessed personally. We review work samples, previous experience, and the impact the designer has achieved in different teams and environments.
Full transparency to the client
The client sees everything before making a decision. CVs, portfolios, and work samples are openly visible on our website. Transparency speeds up decision-making and makes starting collaboration easier.
We don't sell designers we wouldn't hire into our own team.
What kind of work areas does this typically cover?
While this isn't project-based work, many teams initially identify a specific area where they need support. Below are the most common situations where the Fractional Design Partner model works well.
Holistic UX improvement
UX can't keep up with the pace of development. What's needed is clear ownership and a continuous approach to UX, not just one-off fixes.
Building and implementing a design system
UI has grown fast and is hard to manage. A shared design system is needed — one that's actually used and maintained day to day.
Setting up usage data and measurement
Decisions are based on gut feeling. A clear model is needed to see how the product is actually used and to make decisions based on data.
Creating a user research process
User understanding isn't part of everyday work. A practical way to do research regularly and apply learnings is needed.
Aligning design and development
Design and code have drifted apart. Someone who sees the big picture is needed to get styles and components right all the way to the code level.

How does collaboration begin?
Collaboration starts step by step. First we understand your situation and needs, then propose a suitable designer, and finally decide together whether to move forward.
Situation overview
The first step is a conversation or a light review of the product. The goal is to understand what stage your product is at, what kind of team and working model you have, and what type of design expertise is needed in this situation. At this point, no decisions are made and there are no commitments.
Proposal for approach and designer
Based on the situation overview, we propose whether a fractional design partner is the right model for you, where the work would likely focus initially, what allocation would be suitable, and which of our designers would be the best fit. The proposal is based on needs, expertise, and the working approach that fits the situation.
Meeting the proposed designer
Before any commitment, a meeting is arranged with the proposed designer. The purpose is to see if the chemistry works, go through the nature and expectations of the work, and ensure there's a shared understanding of how to work together. If the feeling isn't right, there's no need to proceed.
Decision and start
Only after meeting the designer do you decide whether to start the collaboration and sign an agreement. If the decision is positive, the start typically happens within a few days or weeks, depending on the product and team situation. Collaboration starts light and adapts as needed.
Trust is earned through work
